One of the Big 4 seeking a Technology Category Manager to join their UK Firm.
**Your new company**
One of the Big 4 is seeking a Tech Category Manager to join their Internal Technology Procurement team to help deliver strategic sourcing initiatives nationally. You would be directly reporting to the Technology Category Director whilst working alongside thewider team.
**Your new role
**The role sits within the internal procurement function and ensures effective procurement support to ongoing sourcing and vendor management initiatives as the firm embraces technology transformation and growth. Hence this role will be integral in developingand executing sourcing strategies that will drive greater efficiency, effectiveness and value from the IT Supply Chain. You will have a big influence over risk management focusing on the delivery of value and negotiation of contracts with various tier 1 suppliers.You will be liaising with key stakeholders from the business so you will need to manage and maintain strong working relationships.
**What you'll need to succeed**
You will have well-developed commercial and technical expertise within strategic sourcing to help develop effective strategies.
You will have robust influencing and relationship management skills to create strong working relationships with key stakeholders nationally.
You will have proven category experience (open to category experience) to hit the ground running.
You will have advanced commercial and technical expertise in strategic sourcing to ensure that the they are aligned the company's business objectives.
