Welder/fitter

Grove Site Services are seeking experienced Welders/Pipe Fitters for a new project in Basildon

**Responsibilities**:

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate welding process
- Operate power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and assemble metal components
- Weld and fabricate metal parts using various welding techniques such as stick welding
- Perform quality checks on completed welds to ensure they meet the required standards
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and according to specifications

**Skills**:

- Proven experience as a Welder/Fitter
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for metal fabrication
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of welding techniques
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Skilled in stick welding and sheet metal fabrication
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision

**Salary**: £23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
