We currently have an opportunity for a Stock Assistant to join our team who has a keen interest in Music and Business. We are looking for a person with good organisational and communication skills; written and verbal with an excellent attention to detail and can work to deadlines.

**Purpose of Post**
- To undertake work within a small business environment;
- To contribute to the day-to-day running of the business, including communication with customers and suppliers,
- Producing invoices for customers, stock ordering and warehouse activities,
- To gain key knowledge about all the exclusive brands we distribute across United Kingdom to help maintain a steady stock inventory.

**Key Areas**
- To comply with all the organisation’s policies and procedures
- To work as part of the staff team;
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Checking stock levels regularly
- Updating stock information on the computer system
- Comparing items received against items ordered
- Implementing or improving processes and procedures
- Compiling daily reports and addressing inventory discrepancies
- Maintaining records of pricing, purchases and other relevant information
- Performing random checks and audits
- Other duties will include:

- Maintaining good communication with current suppliers
- Understanding and comply with the Health & Safety policy of the business at all times
- Presenting the business in a professional manner at all times

- To be aware of all emergency and fire evacuation procedures;
- To be aware of sections 7 & 8 of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974;
- To understand that, as part of training you will be required to move to other parts of the Company.

**Salary**: £13,320.00-£18,000.00 per year
