Housekeeping Attendant

**About us**

Fort Road is located just a stones throw from the beach, the old town and the Turner Contemporary. Our fourteen guest rooms are individually designed and feature carefully selected artworks, vintage and bespoke furniture and beautifully tiled ensuite walk-in showers or baths. We have a subterranean bar and a restaurant, Colina.

Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized environment for our guests.

Normal hours are between 9am and 3pm, so perfect for fitting in around any childcare needs. This position would be 5 days a week. Free team breakfast is provided when on shift, and all team are entitled to a share of the service charge via our tronc system.

**Duties**:

- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
- Change bed linens and replace towels as needed
- Vacuum carpets and sweep/mop floors
- Dust furniture and fixtures
- Empty trash containers and dispose of waste properly
- Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management
- Follow all health and safety regulations

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a Housekeeper in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently
- Strong time management skills to ensure efficient completion of tasks
- Excellent communication and customer service skills

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
