Better Care For Future are seeking three Residential Care Workers to join an existing team for a new three bedded home located close to Bury town centre.

This home will cater for three young people with EBD needs and will provide a Secure Base parenting model in order to provide our young people with clear and consistent expectations, fully individualised care and support to take control of their own safeguarding in order to prepare them for life beyond care. This will be underpinned by a robust key working process and life skills programme delivered by the staff team.

All staff will be provided with comprehensive training in both Secure Base and the theories on which it is based, such as attachment and bonding, adverse childhood experiences and SEBD. Staff will also be provided with Team Teach training to ensure full understanding of de-escalation techniques and safe and legal restraint.

All contracts are salaried, and pay is set at £11.50/hr and 50/sleep in rate during probation, rising to £11.75/hour and 55/sleep in rate once probation has been successfully completed.

Staff will be supported through a robust induction and probation programme and will be assigned a Team Leader to guide them through this process. Staff will also be supported through regular supervisions and will be encouraged to share their views in monthly staff meetings.

Once probation has been successfully concluded, all staff will be enrolled onto the Level 4 NVQ in Health and Social Care and will be supported to complete this qualification.

Pay: £12.00-£12.75 per hour
