**What will the role of Materials Planner include?**

Reporting into the Materials Team Leader you will form a key part of the Materials Management Team. Working in a fast paced environment this role will be responsible for ensuring optimum material availability for Heavy Maintenance projects using relevant tools and with full utilisation of the system. Duties will include:

- Place required material orders in line with purchasing procedure through SAP
- Track material purchases and ensure trackers are maintained daily
- Ensure forward planning needs are monitored.
- Manage key and risk items with the relevant Project Engineer to ensure material risks are flagged
- Monitor expected usage against actual on a unit by unit basis
- Monitor daily stock order reports
- Complete invoice queries

**What will I need to be considered for the role of Materials Planner?**
- Minimum 2 years in Supply Chian/ Materials Management role
- Experience of Purchase Order Management
- Proven background in supplier liaison/ supplier performance
- Strong I.T skills
- Conversant with Inventory Control technicques e.g. min/max, 2 bin, stock scheduling
- Relevant experience of delivering in an engineering based environment
