**Role Purpose / Overview**

To work within our Cleaning Department at a large busy client site and so must be flexible in cleaning in a variety of areas including; Ladies and Gents toilet areas, Locker rooms, accommodation blocks, office areas, canteen and rest areas

**Activities and Responsibilities**

**Cleaners are required to be flexible according to business requirements. The focus of each job may vary however, it is expected that activities will typically include the following**:

- Providing the highest level of housekeeping service within your area of responsibility in line with the clients’ specifications
- Responding positively, politely and promptly to all customer requirements and carry out your duties in a professional and courteous manner
- Providing a range of general cleaning services to include offices/meeting rooms, toilets/showers, accommodation blocks and amenity areas site wide
- Ensuring all stocks are replenished in your area of responsibility
- Ensuring regular checks are carried out to the equipment/machines used during hours of work and all the equipment is left clean and in good working order at the end of your shift, reporting any defects to your Supervisor/Line Manager
- Making yourself familiar with and follow all company procedures and regulations
- Participating in the Health and Safety Policy of the company and report any dangers, near misses or hazards you encounter to your Coordinator/Line Manager
- All offices, toilets, and accommodation blocks to be presented in a clean and tidy
- Any other duties as and when directed by your line manager

**Qualifications & Experience**

**Experience**
- No previous experience required, but 1-2 years’ experience in a cleaning environment, not essential
- Good level of spoken English
- Good attention to detail
