We are a very popular and successful Church of England Academy of 1,760 students (335 in the Sixth Form). Our students progress onto world-class universities and institutions to further study or gain apprenticeships and employment. Canon Slade School is a member of the Bishop Fraser Trust, a C of E multi academy trust established in 2017. This is an exciting time to join us as it provides a great opportunity to work closely with the other three schools in the MAT - St James’s C of E High School, Bolton St Catherine’s Academy and Bury C of E High School; sharing good practice and building on our ongoing progress.

**Main Duties**:

- To fulfill general kitchen duties within the school kitchens and staff rooms, including food preparation, serving and cleaning duties.
- Assist with the preparation of food and beverages
- Assist in the clearing, cleaning and wash-up areas
- Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and kitchen hygiene in accordance with legal requirements
- Be aware of Health and Safety procedures and food safety working practices in the workplace
- Serve food to pupils, staff and visitors
- Maintain the required standard of food production
- Taking out and putting away stores, consumables and equipment
- Ensuring that safe operating practices and procedures are followed at all times
- Operate the cashless catering tills

**Working hours will be**:
Monday - Friday 11.45am - 3.15pm
