**Hours of work** - 39 per week - 3 shift rota

**Salary - **£34,985.16 + £4076.52

**About the role**:
**Your Impact as Section Leader**:
To manage the Team and be directly responsible for all production aspects relating to quality, cost, delivery, safety, continuous improvement, learning/development, and engagement. The role will carry a strong emphasis on performance evaluation, analysis and the planning and scheduling of people and workload
- Ensure that the plant meets both internal and external customer expectations by establishing and maintaining a right first time manufacturing process and culture.
- Be responsible for the Quality requirements for your area and that of what the customer expects.
- Ensure all operations comply with the company QMS and all other internal/external standards. Participate in Audits & reviews as required. Recommend process improvement as necessary.
- Responsible for all corrective actions and non-conformance administration following any audits, including internal audits.
- Assist with the creation of improvement action plans for your area with the aim that these are owned and understood by all shifts.
- Work with Health and Safety to establish a zero accident culture by ensuring the effective enforcement of the company Health and Safety Policies and Procedures, ensuring compliance with SOP’s and the wearing of PPE.

**About You**:
**Essential skills & competencies**
- Firm understanding of how to set up machines and Lean manufacturing related processes.
- Cost aware/ understanding of implications of down-time on machines.
- How to produce Quality products.
- Promote H&S in a manufacturing environment.
- Able to solve basic machine related problems.
- Accuracy & good attention to detail.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical documents commensurate with machine operation.
- Ability to organize own workload.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
