I have the pleasure of working with a very prestigious Interior Design practice in Chester who are looking for a new Interior Designer to join their experienced team. My client is considered one of the top interior design companies in the UK, and they specialisein very high end private/residential projects across the UK and worldwide. This is a brand-new position due to the continued success of the business, and their growing client base.

**THE ROLE**
This role is for a mid-weight designer, and a minimum of 4 years’ experience is required. As the new Interior Designer some of your responsibilities will be:

- Participating in all stages of the design process from concept to completion
- Reporting to the Directors across multiple UK and International projects
- Leading the creative development of concepts, FF & E design and space planning to the highest level
- Inspiring and motivating the design team, and overseeing other design team members across projects
- Preparing and developing presentations for client meetings (assisted by more junior members of the team)
- Coordinating and overseeing project documentation such as schedules, specifications and design intent packages and ensure these are being produced to a high quality
- Monitoring the daily tasks of other design team members across projects
- Managing project programmes ensuring a seamless project delivery
- Liaising with clients, suppliers and sub-contractors

**ABOUT YOU**
The new Interior Designer will have an eye for detail and a meticulous approach. You will work well under pressure, and be adept at multi-tasking and working efficiently as well as:

- Minimum of 4 years’ professional experience in a design studio
- A portfolio of projects worked on at a high level within the residential sector
- Relevant Interior Design/Interior Architecture qualification
- Fluent in AutoCAD, Sketch Up, In Design and Adobe Photoshop
- Strong project management and organisation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
- A good understanding of the FF & E procurement process, with a comprehensive knowledge of suppliers, products and finishes
- On-site experience and knowledge of liaising with architects, contractors and suppliers

**WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT**

Based out of their Chester studio, with occasional travel to projects as needed, you will be joining a highly creative company with a reputation for quality andhigh end project delivery. Salary is negotiable and the role is office based in Chester Monday to Friday 9-5pm.
