Base Salary to £45,000 + Bonus and Benefits

My client is a leading travel company who creates and tailormade bespoke luxury cruises and holidays to worldwide destinations.

Due to expansion, they are now recruiting a Reservations Manager with a proven background in sales management within the travel, to join their growing team and drive their growth.

This is a newly created position and will be a key role in the company working alongside the senior management team to drive sales, improve efficiency and quality control whilst ensuring a high level of customer service is delivered at all times.

The role requires a hands-on approach to the day-to-day management of the sales department including a small team of sales and admin personnel, to provide support, guidance and sales training.

Previous management experience within the travel industry is essential.

This is an office-based role although there maybe some flexibility for hybrid working

The working hours are Monday to Friday 9-5.30 although the sales team work a half Saturday on a rota basis

Travel Reservations Manager Responsibilities

Management of the sales department ensuring day to day tasks are completed whilst providing guidance, support and training to the sales team

Pursue and drive revenue growth in line with the business’s aim whilst meeting a variety of sales targets/goals

Monitoring quality control and ensure high standards of customer service is offered at all times

Identifying key needs within the sales department and working with the Commercial Director to develop and implement solutions and processes to improve efficiency

Ensuring all booking reservations and customer administration follow up is delivered to the highest standards

Working with the Marketing Manager to ensure all company's products, campaigns and services are briefed to the sales team

Identify cross-sell opportunities and additional revenue opportunities

Travel Reservations Manager Experience & skills Required:
Previous management/supervisory experience within the travel industry is essential

Sales driven with ability to identify sales patterns and opportunities whilst monitoring growth in line with company’s targets.

Strong leadership skills

Self-motivated with a can-do attitude and committed approach.

Strong attention to detail

Enthusiastic & confident with excellent communication skills and ability to manage a team.

Knowledge & ability to provide tailor-made services and dynamic packaging for bespoke customer proposals.

Travel Reservations Manager Salary and Benefits

Base Salary to £45,000 depending on experience.
