SF Recruitment are pleased to be working with a fast growing SME who operate in a niche manufacturing in their search for an Assistant Accountant to join their friendly, sociable team. This role will be essential to the business as you will support the Accountantwith the general bookkeeping for the business including assisting with the management accounts, processing of invoices, completing payment runs as well as bank and balance sheet reconciliation's.
You will be someone looking for reduced hours (25-30 per week) and have experience in a busy finance function. Due to the nature of the business you will be flexible to assist with the full range of tasks in finance. Experience with Sage accounting softwareis essential as is strong excel skills.
Role:

- Support the Accountant with accounts preperation for multiple entities
- Processing purchase invoices
- Raise sales invoices
- Manage supplier payment runs
- CIS returns
- VAT returns
- Balance sheet reconciliation's
- Accruals and prepayments
- Bank reconciliation's
- Intercompany transactions
- Ad hoc tasks as required
**Requirements**:

- Sage 50 experience
- A good understanding of bookkeeping and accounts
- Good Excel skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Good organisational skills
