Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced self employed Delivery Driver to join our team. We are hoping to start this delivery service around April/ May this year Depending on service demand.

As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting customers laundry to various locations within 1 mile of the laundrette on south lambeth road in a timely and efficient manner. This is a crucial role in our organisation as you will be the face of our company during customer interactions. And if positive feedback is received via a review then a performance bonus will be considered.

This is a start up business adventure so we need someone who is willing to grow alongside this family run business. you will be a vital part of our team and treated as such. We would also offer the driver a once a week half price wash and dry service.

**Duties**:

- Safely and responsibly operate a vehicle to pick up and drop off customers Laundry. we would preferably like to have someone who has there own car (preferably electric or hybrid) but in the future we are hoping to provide a commercial vehicle. this is all with negotiation and can talk these things through as the business expands.
- you will need to Load and unload products from the vehicle.
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for each delivery
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations

**Requirements**:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role. But also happy to consider someone with no experience.
- Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles
- Excellent knowledge of local roads, routes, and traffic patterns
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers professionally. or at least service with a smile.
- Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks as required
