**Job Title**:Despatch Operative

**Salary**:**£11 per hour

**Job Type**:Permanent, Full Time, split shift of 9 hours between 6am-9pm.

**Summary**

Responsible for ensuring the safe and effective stock stewardship, movement of product from factory doors to compound and load lane creation of stacks & loading vehicles.
- To safely and effectively pick & stack trailers, load all HGV goods vehicles and any other mode of transport that arrives on site in a timely manner.
- To maintain the philosophy of "Best use of time and effort at all times"
- Constantly challenge unsafe or inefficient operations, behaviours, and practices, following through to a satisfactory outcome.
**Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:
**Health & Safety**
- You adhere to the current site specific safe systems of work at all times.
**Finished goods compound**
- Stock stewardship and housekeeping within the compound are maintained to the highest standards so the risk of product damage is eliminated.
**Stacking**

**You must ensure that**:

- Stacking standards are maintained at all times as detailed within Deeside Operations System of work.
- All items removed from trailers are placed within the stacked units.
