**Job Description: Front of House Team Member (FOH) - Upselling Specialist**

Are you a highly motivated and customer-focused individual with a passion for delivering exceptional service? Do you have a talent for upselling and the ability to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Front of House (FOH) Team Member.

**Position Overview**:
As a FOH Team Member, your primary responsibility will be to create a positive and memorable dining experience for our valued guests. You will play a crucial role in enhancing customer satisfaction through your exceptional service, upselling skills, and proactive approach to providing outstanding hospitality.

**Responsibilities**:
1. **Upselling Expertise**: Utilize your in-depth knowledge of our menu offerings and beverage selections to proactively suggest additional items that complement guests' orders, thereby maximizing sales and revenue.

2. **Customer Engagement**: Welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, engaging in meaningful interactions to understand their preferences and making appropriate recommendations to enhance their dining experience.

3. **Order Accuracy**: Ensure accurate and timely order taking, communicating guests' preferences and special requests effectively to the kitchen and bar staff.

4. **Problem-Solving**: Think on your feet to address any customer concerns or issues promptly and professionally, going above and beyond to ensure their satisfaction.

5. **Upselling Strategies**: Develop creative and effective upselling strategies, staying informed about current promotions, seasonal offerings, and new menu items.

6. **Team Collaboration**: Work collaboratively with other FOH team members, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations and excellent service delivery.

7. **Cleanliness and Organization**: Maintain a clean and organized FOH area, ensuring tables are properly set, and the ambiance is welcoming for guests.

8. **Product Knowledge**: Continuously update your knowledge of our products, including ingredients, preparation methods, and allergens, to provide accurate information to guests.

9. **Upselling Incentives**: Participate in upselling contests or initiatives, contributing to a positive team spirit and healthy competition.

10. **Taking Initiative**: Identify opportunities to improve the guest experience or streamline service processes, taking the initiative to implement these improvements when appropriate.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a FOH position in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to upsell and drive sales.
- Quick thinking and ability to handle high-pressure situations with grace and composure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset.
- Knowledge of food and beverage trends, as well as dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Ability to work in a team and take initiative when needed.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
