Mhe Operator

Key Responsibilities:
When dealing with deliveries, movement and checking of stock, as part of a team be responsible for:

- Accurately booking on deliveries of new stock, to ensure stock levels are correct
- Ensuring that we have the stock in the right place at the right time; starting with the delivery of stock, through to transferring the stock to the picking area/bulk location
- To carry out daily cycle counts in order to keep stock balance level, and to recognise any potential errors in a timely manner
- Completing daily check sheets for all MHE
- Ensuring you are fit and your certificate is in date before using MHE
- Ensuring stock damages / breakages are dealt with on a daily basis and adjusted accordingly

When packing/picking - As part of a team, on a rotation basis be responsible for:

- Ensuring the stock is correct
- Packing orders to ensure they travel without damages
- To ensure order goes to the correct delivery address
- Read and act on special instructions to avoid delay in delivery e.g. booking in/date required
- Ensure the correct paperwork travels with goods
- To be able to follow procedures on Sage and relevant carriers software
- Ensuring you remain professional when dealing with customers internal and external

When dealing with W/O’s
- Ensure correct stock is picked
- Ensure all stock issued from the system in a timely manner
- Prioritise work load to ensure mínimal delays to production lines
- Endeavour to resolve issues that may occur before communicating to Goods in manager
- Ensure all paperwork is completed correctly for traceability purposes
- Prepare pallets for collection ensuring they are safe to travel

Everyone:

- Ensuring downtime is minimised and looking for ways to continually reduce down time
- Ensuring waste is minimised and looking for ways to continually reduce
- Resolving problems that stop or hinder the production and packing process and communicating with Goods in
- Warehouse manager
- Ensuring all required paperwork/recording of information is accurate and completed on time
- Wearing the appropriate level of PPE
- Recognise and raise NCR’s
- Ensuring the team follows the 6S principles
- Ensures the standard operating procedures are accurate and updated regularly
- Ensure high standards of housekeeping in the area
- Ensuring that ideas and suggestions to that area are made so that continuous improvement is part of day to day life in the Warehouse
- Commit to Wax Lyrical’s Values, Policies, Procedures & Objectives
- Any other duties as required from time to time to meet the business needs
