Excellent opportunity for someone from a production environment who is familiar with lathe machinery to join a growing and exciting company who will offer you variety, technical challenge, long term career stability and a days based Monday to Friday role.

In this role you will work as part of a team in a fast paces environment, maintaining lathes machines an associated equipment.

This is a great role for a production engineer with lathes experience to join a rapidly expanding companies where you can play a key role in this companies growth and development,

The role:
*Days based role
- Monday to Friday.
*To assist the Department Head in maintaining product output in the Lathe Area Department.
*To investigate and where possible offer suggestions for process improvements and/or cost reductions.
*To assist Lathe Machine production when necessary to maintain production output.
*To assist in the training of new staff and progression training of existing staff.
*To diagnose faults and repair Lathe Machines and associated Equipment.
*To complete and update tasks using a Maintenance based software.
*To provide assistance as and when required to any and all members of the Lathe Area team.
*To provide assistance to Service Engineers as and when required.
*To assist with any other requirements associated with the Lathe Area Department.

The person:
*Have experience working in a production environment.
*Be familiar with Lathes machines (ideally Multispindle)
*Have experience using a range of toolroom and workshop based machinery.
*Have a good mechanical aptitude and be able to diagnose faults associated with machine wear and component quality..
