**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Front-Line Service**: Serve as the first point of contact for the Telecare service, providing information, advice, and assistance to service users and other stakeholders. Respond to calls requiring action or visits by Telecare Officers or other out-of-hours staff.
- **Assessment and Action**: Assess situations and take appropriate action based on the needs and wishes of service users. This may involve conducting home visits, providing first aid, or assisting with personal hygiene care as per procedure.
- **Equipment Management**: Assess, install, program, and instruct service users on the usage and testing of Telecare equipment. Rectify faults, replace, or remove equipment as needed in service users' homes.
- **Service Support**: Support the implementation, facilitation, and provision of Telecare and out-of-hours services provided by Tower Hamlets Council. Liaise effectively with all staff involved in service delivery to ensure the highest standards of service.
- **Flexible Duty**: Carry out all duties according to an agreed 24/7 rota pattern, providing cover as mutually agreed.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a telecare or similar service environment
- Ability to assess situations and take appropriate action, prioritizing the needs of service users
- Competency in installing, programming, and troubleshooting telecare equipment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders
- Flexibility to work according to a 24/7 rota pattern, including weekends and holidays

**Salary**: Up to £20.29 per hour
