We carry out detailed communication assessments and give practical advice to the courts about how a person’s communication difficulties will impact on their ability to understand and participate in the justice system. We then suggest strategies that will assist and provide practical support for vulnerable people through the process.

This dynamic and forward-thinking company seeks another organised and conscientious Bookings Coordinator to join the team.

**Job Title**: Bookings Coordinator - Full Time

**Location**:Trigate, 210-222, Hagley Road West, B68 0NP

**Responsible to**: Operations Manager

**Hours**: Full Time, Monday - Friday 9am and 5pm.

(Occasional Saturdays for training in addition to normal working hours)

**Salary**: Point 10 (£23,080) rising to point 14 (£26,587). We value career progression within the Company and have a clear and transparent professional pathway.

**Job Purpose**:
To help coordinate a sub department of the Communicourt support service - allocating work to our intermediaries spread across England and Wales. Answer the phone and transfer calls to the relevant person, assist with training preparation.

**Main Duties**:

- Act on own initiative and carry out duties with mínimal supervision.
- Manage own workload and time prioritising as necessary, taking into consideration company needs and drivers
- Communicate effectively with team members, reporting to managers as required
- Liaise with wider team including overseeing tasks completed by assistants
- Act as the first point of contact for telephone and personal callers, giving a professional and approachable image for the company
- Answer the telephone, take messages for colleagues, and deal with everyday customer enquiries
- Prepare quotations for customers requesting a service, using our bespoke software system
- Carry out general office duties including filing, scanning, photocopying, taking post

**Relevant experience**
- Experience of working in an office environment and managing own workload including regular reporting of progress to line manager
- Passion for equality and fairness
- An understanding of the needs of vulnerable people within the justice system and a passion for fairness and justice
- Excellent professional skills
- Work effectively with colleagues demonstrating excellent professional skills and contribute to the development of the company brand and reputation in the courts by providing excellent customer service.
- Excellent organisation skills
- A proven track record of effective organisation and time management strategies, working independently to manage an ever-changing workload.
- Excellent IT Skills
- Able to complete IT tasks autonomously including in depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 and Microsoft Office.
- Able to work across 2 screens accessing and collating data from several windows
- Able and willing to learn our bespoke IT system
- Excellent Communication skills
