Buyer - Consumer Pest Control

The Buyer will be responsible for expertly sourcing, procuring and managing inventory of high-quality products. This individual will work closely with other departments to ensure timely delivery of goods and services while maintaining cost efficiency and high standards.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Consumer Pest Control Buyer to join our procurement team. As the Consumer Pest Control Buyer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the availability of pest control products that meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and effectiveness. Your expertise in supplier relationships, product sourcing, and industry regulations will contribute to Keplin Group Limited's mission of providing exceptional pest control solutions.
**Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies that align with Keplin Group Limited's business goals and customer expectations.
- Source, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers specialising in pest control products, negotiating pricing, terms, and contracts to secure optimal product quality, pricing, and availability.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, technologies, and innovations in the pest control industry, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements.
- Analyse customer feedback, market trends, and regulatory changes to inform product selection and development decisions, ensuring products meet customer needs and comply with industry standards.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from supplier selection and product evaluation to order placement, inventory management, and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to monitor inventory levels, sales performance, and demand forecasts, optimising stock levels to prevent shortages or excess inventory.
- Evaluate supplier performance, conduct quality checks on product samples, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Maintain a strong understanding of industry regulations, compliance requirements, and ethical practices related to pest control products, ensuring responsible sourcing and product integrity.
- Foster open communication and collaboration with suppliers to drive innovation, quality improvements, and cost-effective solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in buying or purchasing
- Experience buying and dealing with factories is preferable
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with suppliers.
- Proficiency in market research, trend analysis, and the ability to translate insights into actionable procurement strategies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills for effective collaboration across departments and with external partners.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organisational and project management capabilities.
- Knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and ethical sourcing practices within the pest control sector.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving business environment.
- Mandarin, or another language, speaking is desired
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
