Volunteer Receptionist

Responsibilities:
- To assist with enquiries via phone and face-to-face
- Assist the vet when needed.
- Greet and welcome visitors and direct their inquiry
- Answer phone calls and take payments
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents
- Assist with data entry and maintaining records in Teleos
- To play an active part in the tidying and cleaning of the clinic
- Assist with order entry and tracking
- Help with event planning and coordination
- Provide customer support and address inquiries or concerns
- Ensure all the client’s needs are met while visiting the practice
- Utilize Google Suite for various administrative tasks
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Familiarity with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) is a plus
