Trainee Electricians

An opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Electrician to join a modern, rapidly expanding electrical control manufacture company, serving a wide range of commercial sectors across the UK.
Work will be split between our factory and customer locations throughout the UK. The customer base is mostly made up of commercial customers and there will be some overnight stay requirements.
A driving licence is a must.
Main Responsibilities to include:

- On-site work - assisting with installing controls at customer locations including moving refrigerators, mounting controls, electrical wiring connections and commissioning. Attending customer sites to assist with callouts and site surveys.
- Factory work when no site work is required - assisting with any labouring requirements as advised by the Manager.
- Maintaining high housekeeping standards at all times in the factory and on-site including assisting with daily cleans when in the factory.
- Working and communicating effectively with other staff members to ensure job is completed efficiently and to customers' requirements and expectations.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations.
Essential Skills:

- Competent at using the following machines; circular saw, hydraulic punches, pillar drills, cable cutters/stripper, cable crimpers and various hand tools.
- 18th Edition 2391 or equivalent is desirable but will consider basic/other electrical qualifications.
- ECS Card for on-site work is desirable but not essential
- Accurate record keeping and good numeracy skills.
- Full Driving Licence
