Head Barista

We're looking for a Head Barista who can create fantastic coffee consistently with our Sanremo Racer 3 Group espresso machine, 3x Mythos One Grinders and Ubermilk.

**About the business**

Arthouse Café opened within Bloom & Albion on Bridge Street in Chester, in April.

The café has a breakfast, brunch and lunch menu but will at some point also be open late evenings offering a small plates menu alongside wines and cocktails, from Thursday to Sunday.

We have one of the largest drinks menus in the city and as we’ll as the usual coffees we have a range of lattes, speciality coffee including V60s, Chemex, Syphon, cold brew, iced tea, smoothies and milkshakes. From the middle of July we’ll be starting to make alcohol drinks including cocktails, natural wines, beers and more.

There is potential for us to expand the business in the future into other premises with other offerings so ideally, we want to recruit a Head Barista who wants to be involved with this and grow with our business.

**About the role**

This is a rare opportunity for a creative and passionate person.

We place huge importance on our beverages, as with our food the success of our café is dependent on it, so we're looking for a talented creative barista / bartender who loves coffee, consistently achieves a high standard, is great at latte art, understands the origin of coffee, likes to explore and develop their own coffee drinks and cocktails and wants to have their say on guest coffees for us to feature.

The Head Barista will be responsible for the usual i.e. dialling in the coffee machines, ensuring we are at the forefront of coffee trends, maintaining the highest levels of hygiene and safety, refreshing our menus seasonally and the training and development of other barista and bartender resource.

The salary will be agreed between us depending on your experience.

**Salary**: £22,425.00-£23,400.00 per year
