**The Role**:
As a UX Researcher Intern reporting to the Senior UX Researcher, you will join a multi-disciplinary team that designs and develops user-facing products for our internal users: experts in biology, chemistry and data science. You’ll be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional peers to conduct user research that helps shape product design and strategy.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Conduct evaluative research utilising research methods such as in depth interviews, usability testing and surveys
- Execute elements of the end-to-end user research process, such as planning, scoping, recruiting, conducting, analysing and sharing out findings
- Co-facilitate collaborative synthesis, presentations and workshops
- Contribute to the management of our UX research operations, including:

- Participant management
- Research tools and templates
- Insights repository upkeep

**We're looking for someone with**:

- Educational background in a Social or Behavioural Science, Human-Computer Interaction, other related fields, or equivalent practical experience
- Enjoys working on complex scientific challenges in a collaborative setting
- Eager to expand your knowledge of user research methodologies and best practices
- Demonstrated excellence in versatile communication catering for various needs (including interviewing co-workers, collaborating with a team, oral presentation, clear writing, etc.)
- An interest or experience in the biomedical sciences, Human-AI Interaction, and/or Explainable AI is a plus
