**What you’ll be doing**
Designer - You day to day role is to design and deliver solutions for BT’s customers. Your design work will specialise in one of three distinct disciplines either network solutions, voice solutions or contact centre solutions. Our customers are generally external customers so you will be recognised with that enhanced level of visibility and responsibility.
Responsibilities - You’ll be working as part of a dedicated team that spans the globe. As a design practitioner you’ll be responsible for delivering medium to large designs. Working with other designers you may even be the design lead who will be expected to review all components and then deliver the overall design. As a practitioner, you will have an expert knowledge of the overall design. You will contribute to technical discussions within the team, leading others towards a better understanding and encouraging a dialogue to improve the design principles used in the team. You will be required to impart your design principles towards a more senior level, shaping our future direction. This could be towards a customer facing role.

Skills and Experience
Understand ACI hardware and topologies.
- Experience of setting up an ACI fabric from scratch.
- 5 years’ experience in designing and implementing the following ACI logical and physical constructs
Tenant building blocks including the following
Tenants
- VRFs
- Bridge Domains
- End Point Groups
- Application Profiles
- Contracts
- Access Policies including the following
- Pools, Domains and AAEPs
- Policies and Policy Groups
- Profiles and Selectors
- Extending Layer 2 outside ACI using L2Outs
- L3Outs
- ACI integrations including vSphere using VDS and implementing Service Graphs
- Detailing understanding of ACI management and monitoring Detailed understanding of ACI Multi-Pod, ACI Multi-Site and Remote Leaf deployments
- Understand the difference between Network Centric and Application Centric deployments and pros/cons of each.
- The practitioner will be expected to have a deep technical knowledge in one or more of the areas listed above to contribute towards a customer solution.
- Primarily works on solution designs spanning multiple technologies/products and understands how
- those products interact. Accountable for end 2 end technical solution and delivery of solution DCMs to
- time, cost and quality. Typically leads the end 2 end design for customer deliveries. Delivers designs
- that adheres to T&SD gold standards and governance process.
- Generally, WNB/C2M or complex T&T. High number of emergent products with complex solution and

- Typically, Relevant Experience 10 years’ experience.
