Support staff required for 12 hour support shifts or 24 hour shifts to support Children & Young People in Supported Accommodation in Bradford, Shipley, Keighley and Halifax.

**We are looking to hire experienced** Support Worker’s to join our amazing team on a part time or full time basis.

We offer support to care leavers and unaccompanied Asylum seeker children (UASC) aged 16-25, your role is to help prepare them for independence.

**We want to ensure the best experience of transition to adulthood, to empower young people to become as independent, self-reliant and confident as possible,**

As a Support Work for Young People, your main duties may include but are not limited to:

- Working within a team or 1:1 / 2:1
- Promoting independence in tasks around employment, education, cooking and also leading key sessions in budgeting and life skills etc.
- Dealing directly with Social Workers and other Health professionals

**Must be efficient with Microsoft Word.**

As a Support Worker, it is desired that you have:

- NVQ Level 3 qualification relevant to working with young people
- Level 4 Children, Young People and Families Practitioner
- Social work qualifications or equivalent are also valued
- Experience with working with Children and Young people
