Belt Fitter

At Ace Vulcanising we specialise in the installation and repair of conveyor belts.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

- Ability to perform physical, manual labour, in the outdoors, heavy industry, construction or mining environment.
- Prepare belts in the workshop to customer specifications.
- Preparation and joining of belts on site, using a variety of methods. Vulcanising, Clipping etc Dependant on what is best for each individual customer.
- Promote safety by working and adhering to company safety guidelines, with the proper use and safe handling of tools, equipment and materials and use of personal protective gear.
- Be willing and able to work overtime and weekends when required.
- Must be able to multitask, meet deadlines and work independently and in a team environment.
- Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing, in a clear, effective, and professional manner.
- Must be able to document job-site work as required, materials, labour etc.

Previous experience of conveyor/Rubber Belts is essential.

Minimum Requirements
- A valid UK driver’s license.
- Posses’ Good communication skills ie. Written, Verbal and Listening.
- Previous experience of manual labour.
