Catering Assistant

Job Introduction
As a **Kitchen Assistant **for Sodexo in **_______** you will be a key part of the team. you’ll have an enthusiasm for food and a willingness to learn and develop your skills. You will champion exceptional standards of cleanliness within the kitchen and support our chefs in the delivery of nutritious meals.

**What you’ll do**:

- Assist with food preparation working collaboratively with members of the kitchen team.
- Serve and replenish food counters.
- Support with cleaning and sanitising of equipment and workstations.
- Ensure that dishwash area and equipment is kept clean.
- Assist with deliveries, stock rotation and replenishment.

**What you bring**:

- Previous kitchen experience
- Basic food-handling skills are desirable, but not essential if you are willing to learn.
- Cheerful outlook, professionalism, and respect for others
- Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods (up to 8 hours)
- Willing to learn new skills e.g., Health & Safety, Health & Hygiene, Food Safety
