**About Our Client**

Our client, Children Residential Care Home in Kent and seeks a passionate Team Leader to join their team. Their expanding network boasts several homes distinguished with the prestigious "Outstanding" rating from Ofsted, with more additions underway.

**Role Overview**
The ideal Team Leader will have experience working in children's homes, be self-assured, thrive independently, communicate effectively, make sound decisions, and foster staff development to elevate their career. The Team Leader will oversee a team of support staff to ensure personalised care for young individuals. Serving as a role model, you will lead, supervise, and assess support workers, while providing direct, high-quality care and support to the children.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Proficient in organisation and accountability
- Leadership in decision-making and policy adherence
- Staff performance management and training
- Effective communication with colleagues and children
- Alignment with care and health plans
- Motivation and guidance for self-development
- Calm response in stressful situations
- Maintenance of administrative records

**Qualities and Requirements**:

- Minimum two years supervisory experience working in a Children's Home
- Minimum two years of experience working with children or young people with emotional and learning difficulties.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care with Children and Young People or equivalent
- Willingness to commit to the working schedule/needs of the service, including sleeps
- Commitment to continuous professional development and training

**Benefits**:
In return, you will receive a competitive salary of up to £31,000, depending on your experience.
