Position: Warehouse Cleaning Operative

Employment Type: Full-Time/Part-Time, Permanent

**Responsibilities**:
Cleaning Maintenance: Execute a range of cleaning tasks, ensuring that designated areas are cleaned, sanitised, and orderly. This includes sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and other related activities.

Floor Care: Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of floors, removing debris and ensuring surfaces are free of obstacles to ensure a safe working environment.

Equipment Cleaning: Clean and sanitize warehouse equipment, shelving, and storage areas as required to maintain an organized and efficient workspace.

Restroom and Break Area Cleaning: Clean and sanitize restrooms and break areas within the warehouse, ensuring they are maintained to hygiene standards.

Waste Management: Collect and dispose of waste and recyclables within warehouse sites, adhering to established guidelines to keep the environment clean and clutter-free.

Spill Cleanup: Respond promptly to spills and accidents within the warehouse, cleaning and sanitizing affected areas to prevent hazards.

Inventory and Stock Maintenance: Assist in inventory management by maintaining stock levels of cleaning supplies and reporting shortages to the supervisor.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and procedures while performing cleaning tasks, ensuring the well-being of yourself, colleagues, and warehouse occupants.

Flexibility in Schedule: Be open to working flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, to accommodate the operational needs of warehouse clients.

Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other team members to ensure efficient service delivery and a harmonious working environment within warehouse sites.

Qualifications:
Previous experience in cleaning, preferably within warehouse or industrial settings.

Basic understanding of cleaning techniques, equipment, and cleaning agents.

Attention to detail and a strong commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.

Good communication skills for interactions with colleagues and warehouse staff.

Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
