- 3, 4 or 5 days per week, with a fixed 1-week rota pattern
- Overtime available
- All positions include one weekend day per week
- 30 May 2023 - 1 January 2024 (summer-only contracts may be available depending on the strength of the applicant)

**Main duties**:

- Maintaining the very high standards of customer service established at the Gallery including:

- Knowledge on current exhibitions, events, the history of Durslade Farm, the architecture, the garden and all aspects of the gallery programme
- Enhance the visitor experience by offering information to visitors
- Balancing conversations with visitors whilst simultaneously ensuring the safety of all artworks and visitors in the gallery
- Prioritising the security of the artwork, particularly during busy periods
- Proactively managing the use of the spaces and the flow of people to ensure the safety of all visitors and artworks
- Capture evaluative information, report incidences and feedback to the Front Desk team
- Attend daily briefings, training and exhibition walkthroughs
- Maintaining a tidy and well-presented gallery
- Assisting with event delivery
- Support the Front Desk team with other tasks as necessary**Person specification**:

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic public facing environment
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Well-presented, punctual and professional with good attention to detail
- Reliable and resilient with the flexibility to carry out a range of duties as per business needs
- Highly motivated and enthusiastic with an interest in contemporary art
- Previous experience in public-facing roles in an arts environment is desirable but not essential

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract

Part-time hours: 24-40 per week
