**Role Overview**:
As an SEN Classroom Assistant, you'll play a vital role in the school's SEND team, providing dedicated one-on-one support to a child with complex needs. Working closely with the class teacher and other members of the support staff, you'll help create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide one-on-one support to a child with complex needs, ensuring their individual learning and developmental goals are met.
- Assist the class teacher in implementing tailored educational plans and strategies to support the student's progress.
- Foster a positive and supportive relationship with the student, promoting their social and emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with other members of the SEND team to ensure a holistic approach to supporting the student's needs.
- Monitor and record the student's progress, providing regular feedback to the class teacher and SEND coordinator.

**What We're Looking For**:

- Experience working as a Classroom Assistant, ideally in a SEND setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with children with additional needs.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of children with complex needs.
- Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the changing needs of the student and the classroom environment.
- A proactive and positive attitude, with a willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Pay: £18,000.00-£21,250.00 per year
