The Education Project Support will manage elements of a project, they will supports, facilitate and monitor the progress of project within education or across the wider Recovery, OD, EDI and Learning directorate, they will support performance improvement and the delivery of Education, Learning and development at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust.

The post will be integral to the Learning and Education team and will be responsible for the management of projects until they close or become business as usual. The post holder will work closely with the whole corporate education team and wider stakeholders to ensure that we provide a comprehensive service to the Trust. The post holder will establish, maintain and monitor excellent support systems thereby ensuring that education can support the CNWL people plan.

The Education Project Support will be operationally responsible for administrative team members, and this may involve working from any of the CNWL training hubs, sharing work where necessary and providing cover for breaks and leave purposes.

- To manage organise and delegate work to the Administrative staff within Education and Development ensuring they are providing a courteous and efficient service, ensuring that any work in completed accurately and timely
- Be involved in the recruitment of administrative staff within the department, including advertising, job description and person specification, short listing, interviewing, appointing and locally inducting to the department
- To ensure that all administration staff within the department are trained on internal systems including the Learning Management System (LDZ) to enable the management and administration of educational courses and programmes as well as the management and administration of the system.
- To develop, implement and review polices and procedures relating to own area of work and team.
- To ensure that there is appropriate cover for the administration team according to service need and provision
- Deal with any difficult enquiries or potential complaints from staff or users of education and development administration and ensure their resolution when not achieve by more junior staff.
- Represent the Education Project Manager when required to do so.
- To work in conjunction with the Education Admin Manager to co-ordinate the administration team’s annual leave to ensure adequate and appropriate cover

- Effective management of the LMS to ensure that accurate workforce training information is maintained and continuous system improvement including monitoring and uploading course information
- To analyse and disseminate project data to relevant parties. Persuades staff of the importance of the project, negotiates with and motivates on project delivery, including linking in with other initiatives, communicates sensitive information about performance and change, makes routine presentations
- To oversee feedback systems and report findings to senior education leads, in order to support an effective service deliver including analysing assessments and resolving failures to meet project standards
- To develop channels and mechanisms for clear communication across the Trust’s services to include marketing of training events and professional development opportunities
- Develop effective communication and working relationships with colleagues involved in educational activities
- To coordinate the arrangements for project meetings including collating and distributing the minutes of meetings, producing agendas and associated papers and progress
- Responsible for contacting identified internal and external training providers as directed by senior staff to arrange and organise the bookings of venues and any catering associated with training events
