RMS Are working with a outstanding automotive client; We are looking for a Transport Planner/ Co-Ordinator to join our Team. Our client is well known for providing vehicle storage, inspection, maintenance, dispatch and transportation facilities

**About the Role**:
Working closely with the Clients Sales Team, the Transport Planner is responsible for the management and control of carriers whilst planning world-wide deliveries within customer specified lead times.
- Key Responsibilities:_
- Communicating with Internal departments to ensure that customer requirements are fully met. Liaising all information to the customers accurately and on time.
- Accept carrier collection bookings, ensuring vehicles are available within required lead time
- Proactively escalating any issues or delays with vehicles to the sales teams and customers.
- Monitoring vehicle processing in line with KPI’s to ensure that delivery lead times are met.
- Assist in maintaining internal databases and delivery performance tools
- Working hours:_
- Core hours are between 7am - 4pm, flexibility during peak periods is required to ensure that workloads are covered.

**Salary**: £31,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Crewe, Cheshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
