Tenancy Sustainment Worker

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated person to join our Support team in **Newquay** as a Tenancy Sustainment Worker.

You will be working with people who have support needs which may include mental ill health, substance misuse and other challenging issues. You will be providing tenancy sustainment related services, this includes, assisting with budgeting, benefits, health and wellbeing, housing, sign-posting to other agencies and dealing with health and safety and security matters.

With a primary focus on health and safety, tenancy management and risk assessment you will be an integral member of the support services, helping to ensure that targets are met regarding voids, arrears and risk.

You will need to work flexibly and responsively in ever
- changing environments, be resilient, motivated and able to adapt to communicate appropriately with colleagues, clients and external agencies.

This role is being offered on a **part time**, **permanent** basis, working **22.2 hours** per week on a rolling rota. Working days are likely to be Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Bandwidth hours will be 8am to 9pm. However regular working hours are likely to be 9am - 5pm.

To be considered for the role of Tenancy Sustainment Worker, you will be / have:

- Have good communication skills - both verbal and written.
- Be adaptable and responsive.
- Have a good understanding of fire, health and safety issues.
- Understand risk assessment and management.
- Work well in a team.
- be resilient, able to work under pressure and prioritise workloads.
- Work flexibly.
- Good IT skills.
- A positive, 'can-do' attitude.
