**The Role**: Associate Director, Data Product Management

**The Impact**:
S&P DJI indices are used as the basis of investment products and to benchmark portfolio performance. S&P DJI indices are the foundation of some of the world’s leading exchange-traded derivatives, ETFs, structured products, OTC instruments, index funds in addition to being the benchmark for investment portfolios.

S&P Dow Jones Indices is seeking a Product Manager to drive our data product suite. This product line is instrumental for our clients to analyze, compare, and develop investments and benchmarks. The product coverage includes widely followed index series across multiple asset classes, styles and geographies. Our data products are utilized by thousands of global customers.

**A client-focused and execution-minded mandate**:
Analyze market trends and competitors, and derive conclusions for strategic planning of product direction and features
With a strong understanding of our clients and the data landscape within S&P DJI, identify new data product opportunities to drive revenue and maximize client value
For existing data products, find growth opportunities and develop robust pipeline of growth
Work with the product team leaders to articulate the value for each data set for our various clients. Empower the index product management and commercial organization with a cohesive value proposition and key differentiators
Collaborate with Index Data Operations and Commercial partners to deliver a technology-enabled vision for data delivery, prioritizing enhancing client engagement and streamlining operations
Support Commercial and Marketing with deep knowledge of S&P DJI’s data products, capabilities and offerings, such as through data product education and related

The role will allow the Associate Director to have impactful exposure to multiple groups within S&P DJI (Marketing and Communications, Technology, Channel management, Research & Design, Index Development, Client Coverage, and others), to clients such as asset managers and asset owners, exchanges, and other financial technology and data players. What we’re looking for
Undergraduate degree or equivalent in finance or a related field is required
Demonstrated experience in leading digital transformation projects, particularly in data delivery and automation.
Masters degree or equivalent in a relevant field is a plus
Experience in data product management
Familiarity with data consumption in financial firms
Expertise related to indexing is desired
Strong analytical and quantitative skills as well as attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team

**Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only)**:
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $150,000 to $180,000. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus.
