**Financial Administrator**

RGIS are excited to be able to offer the new position of **Financial Administrator** within our finance team. Reporting directly to the **Financial Controller** the **Financial Administrator** is responsible for delivering effective support and assistance to the **Finance Department.**

We are looking for a motivated individual with meticulous attention to detail, to join our team, share in our company values and take their career to the next level with the largest Inventory company in the UK

**Location**:RGIS Head Office, Trinity Park, Birmingham

**Working Hours**:Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm, 37.5 hours per week. A hybrid model of home/office working will be available after the initial training period with 3 days per week office based.

**The Role**
- Assisting District Offices with Sheffield (RGIS Internal System) administration associated with payroll input
- Dealing with any employee payroll queries (directed via District Offices)
- Processing annual leave requests and Statutory Payments whilst maintaining records accordingly
- Assisting the Payroll team to process hourly and salaried payroll runs using Pegasus and Quantum software systems
- Payroll administration tasks to ensure regulatory compliance
- To assist with the administration of the Certify expenses system including the processing and payment of weekly expenses
- To produce all sales invoices, ensuring they comply with RGIS process
- To assist with month end general ledger journals
- To carry out general accounting work and maintain the cashbook module
- To support the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables processes, and provide cover for the relevant Assistants (particularly during periods of high volume work or annual leave)
- To carry out any other tasks or responsibilities as requested by the Financial Controller

**Essential Candiate Attributes**A basic understanding of accounting
- A self-motivated individual with the ability to work autonomously and with own initiative
- A strong team player
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders of all levels
- A neat, methodical and professional approach to work with the sills to prioritise accordingly and a flexible attitude to reach to change when required
- Previous experience of all Microsoft Office packages to a minimum of intermediate level
- Previous experience in a finance or payroll position
- Experience of Pegasus or Quantum systems
- Experience of Sage 200 system

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
