**Location**:Remote within the United Kingdom

The **Data Value Management Practice** covers Data Strategy, Governance, Quality and Metadata Management, and is part of UK Enterprise Data Management (EDM) that specialises in Cloud data solutions for EXL clients and is a core element of the UK Analytics. This role is an opportunity to assist and support the business growth of this practice, within a fast growing and market leading organisation.

The Consultant is an experienced SME on **Data Governance and Data Quality Management and / or Data Strategy.** The role will deliver external client Data Strategy / Governance / Quality Management projects as part of a consulting team - or provide advisory / SME expertise to clients as a solo engagement. The role will involve working with our Metadata Management consultants in respect of Metadata tools and our offshore service teams.

As a Consultant, you will have responsibility for delivering client projects on time, to budget and within the terms of the statement of work, support sales opportunities with our sales teams where required, and support the development of our capabilities and services. Communication and collaboration are essential to success, as is demonstrable experience and expertise in the design, implementation and BAU operation of Governance and Quality Management, ideally with exposure to developing data strategies.

**As part of your duties, you will be responsible for**:
**Data Strategy Consultant**
- Enhance and maintain the Data Strategy offering - from Sales material through the EXL Data Strategy Playbook and supporting accelerators and templates to delivery processes and deliverables - through ongoing experience of use
- Support where required EXL Sales teams to respond to client requests / enquiries and opportunities through input to RFP’s, Proposals, attending meetings and workshops.
- Deliver Data Strategies to clients using EXL Strategy Playbook - conducting interviews / leading workshops, undertaking analysis, collaborating with Business Analysts and Solution Architects to capture current state, define the target and the change roadmap, investment and benefits case - through business value analysis.
- Be a Strategy SME to EXL UK and EXL US teams and to Clients.

**Data Governance Consultant**
- Enhance and maintain the Data Governance Playbook, its processes, templates and accelerators.
- Support EXL Sales teams in the selling lifecycle, and develop the mechanisms to bring Governance to Life.
- Deliver Data Governance projects to clients - ranging from trusted advisor / SME to design, implement and stand up BAU operations Data Governance Frameworks covering the full Operating Model of Governance
- Support clients in the management of reference data, with and without formal RDM tools
- Be a Data Governance SME to EXL UK and its clients.
- Co-ordinate with the US Data Governance Team, UK Metadata Lead and Offshore teams in respect of Data Governance Toolsets

**Data Quality Consultant**
- Develop and maintain the Data Quality Playbook, its processes, templates and accelerators.
- Be an SME in Data Quality Controls supporting run time management of data quality and in Data Quality Issue Management including issue identification, processes, remediation, profiling, and monitoring to clients whether in an advisory / trusted advisor capacity or as part of a larger DQ / Data Governance project.
- Support sales teams in the selling lifecycle, and develop mechanisms to bring quality management to life.
- Work with the Data Governance and Metadata Leads / teams to ensure services aligned, and to integrate delivery where required.
- Be the Data Quality SME to EXL UK and its clients.
- Co-ordinate with UK Metadata Lead, offshore teams and UK Data Management team in respect of toolsets and data analysis.

**Project Delivery
- Play an advisory role with clients to understand their needs, and use cases, educate on the value and benefits, the implementation roadmap and impact.
- Undertake Data Strategy and Governance assessments, capture interview outputs, undertake structured analysis, identify use cases and solutions to support, develop recommendations in respect of metadata management.
