Assistant Greenkeeper

Cooden Beach Golf Club are recruiting for an Assistant Greenkeeper who is seeking to continue their career in the Sports Turf Industry or alternatively is looking to get in to green keeping. To join our experienced friendly team. We are located next to the coast in Bexhill on Sea across a Site of Specific Scientific Interest (SSSI). Cooden Beach is arguably the premier course in the area.

**Job Title**:Assistant Greenkeeper

**Reports To**:The Course Manager

**Salary**:Depending on qualifications / experience.

**Working Hours**:40 hours per week, including one weekend in 4.

**Assistant Greenkeeper**:

- To assist the Greens team with the daily maintenance of both course and practice areas to keep our course in championship condition.
- To assist the Greens team to ensure that all equipment is kept in a good working order and to report any faults immediately.
- To adhere to current health & safety procedures.
- To be able to achieve a high level of attention to detail in all tasks being undertaken.
- To be highly motivated and productive and to be able to work as part of a close team.
- This position involves early morning starts, working outdoors in all weathers through out the year.

**Assistant Greenkeeper Requirements**:

- Full Clean Driving License
- Golfing experience an advantage.
- Ability to work with others and follow instructions from supervisors and managers.
- All onsite training alongside the opportunity to complete an industry recognised qualification.

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
