**Role Purpose**

The role involves reading, coding and taking action with patient information in a timely manner and according to Practice policy and protocols. Full time and part time positions available
- timetable can be flexible.

**Role Responsibilities**
- Identify relevant clinical information contained in patient related correspondence by sorting post according to Practice protocols.
- Code of diagnosis, procedures, results and appropriate clinical information accurately on the patient record and follow up any actions contained within the correspondence according to Practice protocols.
- Scanning of patient related documentation and attaching scanned documents to patient’s healthcare record.
- Filing of clinical correspondence into the clinical system (SystmOne).
- Forward medication alterations to the Clinical Pharmacist.
- Forward referral requests and enquiries, and insurance reports to the Secretaries
- Inform Reception of all appointment requests
- Support all clinical staff with general administrative tasks as required.
- Ensure that all QOF related data is captured.
- Maintain and improve a knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.
- Raise any coding queries with the lead clinician to ensure quality and consistency of coded information.
- Deal with queries relating to coding within scope of competence.

You will be required to work at either of our Practice sites:

- Well BN, 18-19 Western Road, Hove, BN3 1AE
- Well BN, Old Shoreham Road, BN41 1XR
- Well BN, 14 Burwash Road, Hove, BN3 8GQ

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 15-37.5 per week

**Salary**: £11.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

COVID-19 considerations:
Patients are required to wear face coverings unless exempt
