Coventry & Warwickshire are currently looking for vibrant, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join their Children’s Speech & Language Therapy team. We are seeking highly motivated and committed speech & language therapist with excellent attentionto detail and strong communication.

The post holder will visit mainstream primary schools across the area to deliver regular therapy for children who have direct therapy specified in Section F of their EHCP. This will involve carrying out therapy, liaising with teachers, providing supportfor teaching assistants to carry out therapy tasks and updating therapy plans.

The successful applicant will be part of a highly supportive team of 40 therapists and therapy assistants and will work alongside OTs and PTs as part of the children’s therapy team.

**Main Duties of the Job**:

- To assess, treat and manage own caseload of children and young people with communication disorders and to maintain associated clinical records
- To advise and provide clinical support to other speech and language therapists
- To supervise the work of assistants, students and other less experienced therapists
- Have an SLT degree
- Be RCSLT registered
- Be HCPC registered
- Have SLT clinical experience of working with children with a variety of clinical needs
- Be able to travel independently across the city on a regular basis
