**The key responsibilities of a Payroll Clerk will include, but may not be limited to;**
- Manage payroll processes in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal policies.
- Liaise with employees about payroll-related queries.
- Prepare reports for the Accounting & Finance department.
- Assist with the auditing of payroll or benefits.
- Handle payroll adjustments and corrections as needed.
- Provide administrative support as required.
**The Successful Applicant**:
**A successful Payroll Clerk should have**:
- A solid understanding of payroll and accounting principles.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong numerical and data entry skills.
- Good knowledge of relevant software and systems.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to commute to Salford.
