Assenta Ltd are looking for Welder/Fabricators to join our team at our rail depot in Hamilton where we overhaul, repair, and maintain a variety of rail vehicles for clients in the UK and Europe.

Due to continued demand and upcoming projects, we require 2 X Welders / Welder Fabricators

The responsibilities of the role include:

- MIG, MAG (solid wire) and MMA welding experienced.
- Steel welding on sizes 2mm to 15mm thick.
- Plasma or Oxy acetylene/propane cutting experience.
- Use of hand tools, grinders, light forming machines etc.
- Knowledge of metal fabrication techniques.
- Able to read engineering drawings and extrapolate welding and fabrication requirements.

Desirable but not necessary skills:

- CSWIP - Welding Inspection.
- PCN Level 2.
- Experience of copper pipe fitting/brazing.
- Aluminium Welding experience.

Training and welders testing will be provided in order to meet the current railway standards BSEN15085-2

35 hour a week (on occasion overtime may be available)

**Salary**: £20.19 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
