We have an exciting opening for an **Alcohol and Non Opiate Drugs Keyworker** for our Camden service. In this role, you'll leverage your skills and experience to assess and engage with our service users, ensuring they receive timely, tailored interventions that best meet their needs.

**Salary**: £27,449.53 - £31,529.41 Pro Rata

**Allowances**: £4,072.06 Inner London Weighting

**Responsibilities**:
**About the Role**:
In this dynamic role, you'll:

- Support service users from the moment they enter our service throughout their treatment and recovery journey.
- Conduct screening, assessments, and recovery planning, with onward referrals as necessary.
- Deliver engaging alcohol and drug group work programs, specifically aimed at people using drugs like New Psychoactive Substances (NPS), Cocaine, etc.
- Play a crucial role in reducing drug and alcohol-related harm to both service users and the wider community.
- Actively promote carer, service user, and community involvement.
- Advocate for access to partnership services.
- Collaborate with service users to support their social reintegration, enabling them to lead meaningful lives, promote recovery, resilience, peer support, and self-determination.
- Engage with employers and the broader community to connect with individuals using non-opiate substances.

**About You**:
To excel in this role, you should:

- Possess experience in assisting clients who use alcohol and should have knowledge of alcohol detoxification and the associated withdrawal risks.
- Experience of delivering tailored psychosocial interventions to those accessing treatment.
- Have demonstrable relevant experience in crisis support/intervention, key working/case management, group facilitation, and peer-led interventions.
- Have experience in the field of substance misuse or a related field.

- Great communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy, patience, resilience, and a genuine commitment to helping others.
- Experience of conducting comprehensive assessments to determine individual needs and treatment plans.
- Skills in effectively managing change, prioritising the needs of service users.
