**Required to work on a rota basis, including days, nights and overnight shifts.**

**Idea of shift patterns**:8am-3pm, 3pm-10pm and 10pm-8am done on a rota basis.

**On-call will be covered by the Senior Management Team on a rota basis.**

**Role Overview**:
We are recruiting for dedicated and ambitious **Senior Support Workers** for our Adult Residential Service in Merseyside, where you will support adults with acquired brain injuries (ABI) to promote independence and support them with rehabilitation to lead fulfilling lives, incorporating both therapy based activities and social based activities.

You will be working at a purpose-built service, offering proactive residential support and respite services for individuals with an acquired brain injury. The focus of the service is to provide a supportive environment in order for people to develop skills and strategies in order to lead a more fulfilled and independent life.

Overseeing Support Workers, our **Senior Support Workers** ensure the support team work in accordance with care plans for the people we support. Day to day role of senior includes; delegation of tasks to the team, administration of ordering, receiving and administration of medication, handling finances, communication with multidisciplinary teams such as GP’s, therapists, social work teams.

Our **Senior Support Workers** are required to have a sound experience of supporting people with varying care needs, and are familiar with leading a team and managing responsibilities of the teams record keeping along with supervising the team on a daily basis and bi-monthly supervision. **Experience**:

- Support Worker / Care Assistant: 1 year (preferred)

- NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care (preferred)
