**The Job**:

- Purchase materials related to the maintenance department including stock replenishment of machinery spares and new items.
- Reviews purchase requisitions, and source materials.
- Perform techno-commercial evaluation of Quotations.
- Negotiate to place orders in the best interest of the company and ensure timely deliveries.
- Coordinate to ensure timely payments.
- Develop new supply sources where vendors and suppliers are inadequate.
- Coordinates purchasing activities with manufacturing and maintenance departments to maintain maintenance critical stock levels.
- Responsible for the smooth functioning of maintenance stores.
- Monitors quality, service, and delivery concerns and take corrective actions as needed.
- Understand and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide innovative recommendations for continuous improvement.

**The Person**:
All new hires must meet all Camden minimum employment qualifications in effect at time of hiring.
- Experience working in a purchasing or procurement role
- Be able to think creatively and offer solutions
- Be passionate about working in this industry
- Have strong communication and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
Experience of working within in a busy department within a manufacturing environment is desirable
