**Printer required** for one of Scotland’s largest independent solid board carton manufacturers. They specialize in packaging for the food and healthcare markets including the UK’s leading supermarket chains.

The role will involve full responsibility of running a Manroland R300 print machine. You will be primarily responsible for ensuring that the printed material meets the specification agreed with the customer as well as carrying out daily maintenance.

**Key responsibilities**:
Running a 2 colour perfector Manroland printing press by setting and operating the machine

Loading of inks and materials

Cleaning and general machine maintenance, ensuring that the working area is tidy and environmentally safe

Ensure correct waste disposal storage and safe storage of print chemicals

Ensuring materials handled are of good quality

Assisting with the creation of purchase orders for materials required

Have a positive attitude to Health and Safety and Quality, ensuring compliance with company H&S Policy and Quality Management systems

Communicate with and work as part of the team & support other teams/departments as required

You maybe asked to fill in as assistant on the other litho presses or assisting with any of the other processes.

**Qualifications, Experience, Skills, & Characteristics**:

- Print experience on Lith presses essential.
- Self motivated and enthusiastic individual
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail

**Working Hours**:
40 hours per week (8:00 - 17:00 hrs Monday-Thursday, 8:00 - 14:30 hrs Friday).

To meet the company’s requirements, employees may be asked to work paid overtime at short notice.

**Salary**:
Meets the national minimum wage.

**Additional Information**:
Annual holiday entitlement is 28 days. If working shift pattern, annual holiday entitlement will be calculated on a pro rata basis.
