An exciting vacancy has been created within our Tree team as part of the Transport and Highways service.

This role is a Grade 7 Tree Surveyors based in the Guilden Sutton Area Highways Office.

We are looking for a talented, dedicated arbicultural surveyor to join the Council's Tree team and your role is to assist the Senior Tree Officer by providing a professional arboricultural service to help manage the Council's tree stock.

Your responsibilities will be to directly undertake tree safety surveys and condition inspections of trees under the ownership of the Council. You will be responsible for raising works with our Tree Maintenance Contractor and coordinate and monitor their performance.

Good communication skills with a pleasant professional attitude is preferred as you will investigate and respond to all tree related enquiries that the Council receive from MPs, Ward Councillors and the public throughout the Borough.

The contractual work location for this role is the Area Highways Office in Guilden Sutton near Chester.
