**Location**: Durham

**Contract Type**: Agency/Locum (asap - 29th March)

**Pay Rate**: £13.90 per hour (assignment/umbrella rate)
£10.90 per hour (PAYE)

**Shift/Working Pattern**: Mon-Fri, 3 hours per day starting at 3.30pm.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain a clean and tidy environment for both staff members and the public.
- Ensure all areas of the County Hall including waiting areas, toilets, and walkways are kept clean, sanitized, and safe.
- Disposing of waste in a responsible and environmentally friendly manner.
- Cleaning, sanitizing, and supplying designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, restroom cleaning, etc.).
- Conducting regular thorough inspections for cleanliness and reporting any maintenance issues.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in cleaning or related field highly preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning products and supplies.
- Ability to work well under limited supervision, demonstrating self-motivation and a strong work ethic.
