Acccounts Assistant

**About The Role**:
ROLE OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Financial Accountant, your role holds overall control and responsibility for all day-to-day transactional reporting for the International Group.

KEY ROLE DELIVERABLES.
- Daily bank reconciliations for the group covering 18 accounts in various currencies
- Maintenance of balance sheet accounts including credit cards and unposted expenses, staff expense claim accounts and postings, fixed asset register reconciliations and depreciation posting, etc
- Support with the month end process including journal postings, preparation of monthly schedules, key report reconciliations, etc
- Sales ledger process maintenance - postings and approvals including staff recharges, ledger review and support to the credit controller on regular chasing of debts
- Induction of new starters to show how to process expense claims and timesheets, being a face of the business and a key point of contact for finance
- Setting up of new projects onto the system including key information
- Admin duties including:

- timesheet control - setting up new staff members, responsible for collection of data and adjustments for incorrect entries for the payroll process
- maintenance of the credit card accounts - issuing of new credit cards, maintenance of the overall account, being the point of contact for queries
- maintenance of staff expenses platform
- Additional ad hoc tasks
- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
- Proven working experience within an accounts function
- Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- ESSENTIAL AND DESIRABLE SKILLS
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Excellent administration skills and accounting software user
- Experience of working within an international group company
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Analytical skills
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics/4PS
